Privacy Policy Going to Utopia ("GoU" or "we") has developed this Privacy Policy to explain the collection, use, and disclosure of information from users of our software applications ("GoU Applications"), our websites and other services we offer (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you consent to the collection, disclosure, and other uses of your information described below. We are constantly improving things at GoU, and our Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will not make material changes to the Privacy Policy without first providing notice of such changes through our Services.

We ask for your permission to provide the following data:

  • Registration Information. When you register for a GoU Account, you will link your Google account to the GoU App. We ask you to provide us with personal information, such as your name, email address, and phone number. We may also ask you to provide your location and personal preferences ("Registration Information")
  • User ID and Device IDs. When you install the GoU App, we create a unique identification number associated with the software installation ("User ID").
  • Mobile Data. When you install the GoU App, we ask for access to your activity on your mobile phone such as the following: App Install, Camera, Gallery, GPS ("Mobile Data").
  • Usage Information. We also collect information about how you use our Services, including how you view and interact with content, which parts of our Services you use, what information you search for, what content you view, and what actions you take.
  • Log Data. When you use our Services, we automatically record information about your usage ("Log Data").
  • Surveys and Promotions. From time to time, we may provide you with the opportunity to participate in surveys, contests, or sweepstakes through our Services. If you participate, we may ask for certain additional information from you.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

Personal data is information that relates directly or indirectly to you, who is identified or identifiable from that information or from other information. In your transactions and dealings with GoU, you may be asked to provide your personal data from time to time. GoU and its third party service providers may share Personal data with each other and use Personal data consistent with this Privacy Policy. They may also combine it with other information to provide and improve GoU products and services.

User Device Location

User Device Location, including GPS location, for the purpose of improving and/or facilitating the GoU Service and tracking the user's location while the user is playing the GoU Application.

Retention of Personal Information

Your Personal Information will only be retained for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as such retention is required or permitted by Applicable Law. We will cease retaining Personal Information, or delete your Personal Information as an individual, as soon as it can be reasonably assumed that the purposes for which the Personal Information was collected are no longer served by retention of the Personal Information and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

Please note that it is still possible that some of your Personal Information may be retained by other parties or Users in certain ways (such as, through screen capture). Information submitted through communications between Users and Third Parties, conducted other than through the use of the Application (such as via telephone, mobile messaging, or other modes of communication) may also be retained in some ways. We do not permit the retention of Personal Information in such manner and we shall not be liable to you for the same. To the extent permitted by Applicable Law, we shall not be liable for such retention of your Personal Information. You agree to indemnify us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, contractors, and Affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs (including but not limited to legal fees and expenses on a full indemnity basis) resulting directly or indirectly from the unauthorized retention of your Personal Information.

Personal Data may be collected by GoU

When you register for the GoU application, we may collect various personal data including the following:

  • Application Username
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Your Email Address connected to Google
  • Smartphone Device Data You Use:
    • Device
    • Brand
    • Model
    • OS Version

How GoU Uses Your Personal Data

Our purpose in collecting your Personal Data is to be able to provide the services and information you need better and for that, we use your personal information to:

  • Responding to your questions and/or requests
  • Managing or carrying out our obligations in relation to any Agreement between you and GoU.
  • Ensuring that you are of the appropriate age to use our Products.
  • Anticipating and resolving issues related to the products we offer.
  • Recording all information from your computer/application and browser, including software and hardware attributes and the pages you request, using your information to customize advertisements and content that GoU will display and conducting research to improve GoU services.

Personal Data Protection

GoU takes necessary administrative and technical precautions to protect your personal information against loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, use, alteration or destruction.

Personal Data Storage and Access

GoU will do its best to help you ensure that the information you receive is accurate, complete and up-to-date. We will retain your personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the different purposes set out in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is permitted or required by law. You can help ensure that your contact and reference information is accurate, complete and up-to-date by logging in to the GoU app. For other Personal Information, we make a good faith effort to provide you with access so that you can ask us to correct the data if GoU is not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonable, repetitive, require excessive technical effort, threaten the privacy of others, are truly impractical or if access is not otherwise required by local law. Requests for access, correction or deletion can be made through the GoU app.

Language

This Privacy Policy is made in English and Indonesian. In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation or understanding between the Indonesian and English versions, the User hereby agrees that the Indonesian version shall prevail and the relevant English version shall be deemed to be automatically amended to conform, and to make the English text consistent with the Indonesian text. The User confirms that he has read the Privacy Policy and understands the contents in the Indonesian language;

Confidentiality and Security

We have implemented technology and policies that comply with applicable regulations in Indonesia with the aim of protecting your privacy from unauthorized access and improper use and we will update these measures as new technologies develop as needed.
